IN CONTACT, together, in community

In the course of the project "CONTACT, together, in community", activation methods are implemented in Békéscsaba with the involvement of youth professionals and young people (school community budget, youth hackathon, public peer education), which in themselves represent a step forward for the applicant organisation and the youth work of the municipality.
Complex, innovative forms of involvement and participation can be explored through learning by doing with the community. We will also go beyond the city limits, helping young people and their communities to take forward the experience and forms of community activity they have learned in Békéscsaba, in their own settlements and communities.
The project has designed programmes at 4 levels. The GRÉMIUM programme focuses on the organisation and the actors implementing the project, the AKTIVÁTOR programme initiates movements at school level, the GENERÁTOR programme identifies resources and mobilises at city level, and the DIALOGUS programme channels community processes to Békéscsaba County municipalities by involving students studying in Békéscsaba.
Through participation, cooperation and responsibility, the participants' skills and abilities to exercise their rights are developed, and they are given the opportunity to learn and live their rights, respecting the personality, dignity and rights of others. They also help them to experience in everyday life how representative democracy works and the values enshrined in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.
