The project aims to prevent trafficking in human beings and to protect its victims. Targeting young people leaving school and social institutions, especially the most vulnerable target group, those in care. They are at risk of becoming victims of trafficking because of their age and life situation. The project is aimed at young people at risk, as well as parents and guardians, teachers and educators. We have already worked with several child protection institutions and we aim to continue this work, reaching out to other institutions and communities, children, young people and staff working with the target group. Experience has shown that the methodology works well in these spaces, and after previous occasions, we have received extremely positive feedback from both the young people involved and the adults working with them. The event itself takes place in a format that young people can directly engage with during the process, with real interaction between participants and performers, and with the participants taking on roles alongside the actors. During the project, the participants will gain concrete, usable knowledge about how to avoid dangerous situations and how to get out of a criminalised situation. By presenting practical knowledge, the aim is that the target group will avoid dangerous situations and/or know what to do if they find themselves in one.
