The aim of the initiative is to promote the development of a drug policy in Hungary that aligns with European values.
The project seeks to create impact in three main areas: shaping public attitudes, training and building the capacity of affected individuals and civil society actors, and strengthening civil cooperation.
The following activities will be implemented as part of the project:
- A one-day media communication training and a four-day video-based advocacy training for professionals and activists.
- Technical support for the projects of participants in the video training programs.
- Drug Reporter Free University: an educational event series for people who use drugs and their relatives.
- A civil society drug policy conference to support networking and collaboration among professionals.
- Production of multimedia and video content for public awareness and education.
As a result of the project, the knowledge, communication, and advocacy skills of people affected by drug use, activists, and civil society organizations working in the drug policy field will improve.
Educational tools and content will be created that remain accessible and useful in the long term — helping to shape public attitudes and reduce the risks associated with substance use.
