Creative, contemporary communities for social responsibility in e-learning

CERV-F3-2024-1135
Foundation for 21st Century Pedagogy
Budapest

The project aims to develop legal awareness and self-advocacy among young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and to strengthen the social responsibility of the mentors involved in the e-learning. The programme will be an extension of the E-learning activities and will support the promotion of social equality and inclusion, while developing pedagogical tools and implementing events. The target groups are mentored young people from disadvantaged backgrounds within E-tanoda, mentors from secondary school and university, and even teachers and partner institutions from outside, who will directly apply the results of the project.
The project will also produce a tabletop game, a teacher's guide and online learning materials that will help to develop legal awareness and self-advocacy in an experiential way. Most importantly, the Hackathon event will allow participants to learn game development skills while learning about fundamental rights. For mentors, training sessions, interactive workshops and situational exercises reinforce social responsibility and problem-solving skills.
The project will be implemented in close cooperation with partner schools, schools and NGOs, who will incorporate the results and methods of the programme into their activities. The tools will be made available to other organisations. New and strengthened partnerships and capacity building built into the project will ensure its sustainability and open up further development opportunities.
