An increasingly serious issue in society is that a growing number of individuals, due to deteriorating mental or physical health, are no longer able to care for themselves. As a result, they often struggle to maintain cleanliness and order in their homes. This creates additional challenges for home care professionals, who are then unable—or only with great difficulty—to carry out their caregiving responsibilities in such environments.

In response, the Cleanliness for the World Association is launching a public awareness campaign to draw attention to this often-overlooked problem. With the involvement of experts, the association is also developing a weekly planner specifically designed to support people struggling with mental health issues—particularly depression—in maintaining environmental hygiene as part of their daily routines.

As part of the initiative, the association will professionally clean and declutter 15 heavily soiled homes that require expert intervention and specialized equipment to restore. Once cleaned, these homes will again become accessible to home care professionals, allowing them to carry out their caregiving duties effectively.
