"We Have to Push Forward"

Following recent laws passed by the government, the LGBTQ+ community in Hungary faces open discrimination and the erosion of their rights. The initiative by Marom Club aims to address the issues of freedom and equality in connection with the 2025 Budapest Pride. Through an awareness campaign based on community participation, the initiative seeks to bring these vital topics to the forefront.

The "We Have to Push Forward!" campaign highlights a poster competition, which offers a platform for social commentary—particularly for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies, as well as for civil organizations, activists, and artists. The submissions will form part of a traveling exhibition, and the artworks will also be available online. This visual, community-driven, and activist campaign will reach beyond those directly affected, encouraging wider audiences to recognize the ongoing violations of rights and inspiring people to contribute to the building of a more solidaristic society.
